The world's biggest democracy, the most beautiful country with various cultures, languages, ethnic groups, festivals, and seasons, will celebrate her 75th anniversary of independence this year by rekindling memories of the great occasion of 15 Aug 1947. We shall continue to cherish the ‘Amrit’ of freedom with pomp and show on this memorable milestone year.
Though the country has had bitter experiences of rule by foreigners for generations, we were relieved of all such yokes on August 15, 1947. We are proud to announce that we are marking the 75th anniversary of our Independence by becoming part of the ‘Mahotsav’. We honour the brave men and women who gave their lives to free our country from foreign domination.
The years since 1947 have witnessed tremendous growth in many spheres justifying our legitimate claim to be one of the leading powers in the world. The growth that we have today is the result of decisions taken by free India unlike the earlier times when we were playing the second fiddle to the foreigners. They came to plunder and rule, not to help us.
We CFI church have contributed, though not in a big way, to the development of our country in accordance with its needs. For the success and development of a country everyone should be literate and educated. Therefore, CFI church works to educate both children and adults so that our country can succeed in all spheres of life.
We do have projects through which we educate mothers and girls to make our country a healthy one. Through our skill development projects we train young people as skilled employees. We conduct numerous Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, wherein we do awareness campaigns in keeping our surroundings clean so that they are free of illness.
We commemorate India's 75 years of independence as well as the sacrifices of its leaders. We are proud to participate in AzadiKaAmrit with our nation’s visionaries. We wish everyone a happy Independence day.
