We learn to love and help our neighbors as we love ourselves. A person who wants our help is our neighbor. We are encouraged by the word of God and believe that by sharing the Good News we can expect God to transform those in need.
Jesus has enlightened this teaching through the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10: 25-37).
CFI Church leaders, workers and volunteers are encouraged to take proactive initiatives and respond to any crisis and emergencies as they happen in their areas. Churches in other areas are encouraged to take up collections of finances, goods and share generously with the needy.
Wherever possible we help the victims by providing emergency aid, food, clothes and medicine. Also work with the communities for long-term solutions such as re-building homes, digging water wells, build toilets and other re-building projects.
